Dream Theater Twelfth Album

The CD arrived this morning. Do not ask what my expression looks like at the time. I’m pretty sure I’m like an idiot because I'm too happy.

First, let me introduce the CD. This is Dream Theater twelfth Album, titled Dream Theater, produced by the band's guitarist John Petrucci. This album feature 9 songs. One of the songs is 22:17-minute-long song which indirectly reminds me with Octavarium. As you know, Octavarium is 24-minute-long song from their eighth album with the same name, Octavarium.

For me, this album sounds more creative than their previous work. An instrumental after 10 years, this is what the fans awaited, isn't it? Enigma Machine should be one of my favorite track on this album. And False Awakening Suite is also a great opening track, especially in Night Terrors part. But the greatest is Illumination Theory. I never thought they would make a song like The Embracing Circle. I mean, that part makes me feel like being in the middle of forest in Wonderland then immediately being in a metal concert, it’s epic! And so far, I think I began to love Mangini's drum *slaps*

Ahh, I’m not pretty sure but I felt a bit The Answer Lies Within nuance in The Bigger Picture solo guitar. Maybe it’s just my feeling. Just forget!
